For our Sales team, understanding the full potential of our technology and the trends in our markets is highly rewarding. In addition, helping customers all over the world improve efficiency, save resources and reduce emissions gives our work a powerful sense of purpose. Join us as Solution Sales Specialist based in Waikato or Bay of Plenty and you will develop and grow ABB Electrification Products business and be committed to meet and exceed the defined Country and Individual Key Performance Indices. Reporting to Vice President - Division Marketing and Sales, you will use your experience and drive to build long-standing customer relationships and identify effective solutions for your customers based in the Central North Island.
**Your responsibilities**:
- Increasing specification of ABB products and systems by effectively utilizing network of engineering consultants
- Developing and executing sales action plan following the national and state strategy for effective and sustainable growth of ABB business to satisfy company sales budget and profitability
- Identifying new sales leads and prospects and securing the business with these prospects for ABB
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with Customers’ senior management and decision makers to ensure high success rate in securing orders
- Preparing and submitting monthly and quarterly sales forecast based on your project pursuits and prospects in ABB Sales Pipeline System
- Supporting ABB Shared Services (Accounts Department) when required to minimize credit and payment collection risks for ABB
- Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
**Your background**:
- Relevant experience and knowledge of New Zealand’s electrical market
- Significant experience in solution sales and business development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, SAP ERP System
- Extensive network with strong relationships with customer channels
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills
- Experience working with switchboard builders, electricians, OEMS, end users and electrical wholesalers
