**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
You will design and carry out testing processes for new (projects) and upgraded systems, analyse the results, and identify and report problems; this includes:
- Design and develop tests for software and systems to detect faults
- Keep written records of defects and bugs that are discovered during testing
- Analyse the defects and bugs to identify what is causing them
- Develop or recommend solutions to fix any problems discovered during testing
- Track the success of the solutions
- Keep software and systems documentation up to date
You will be an integral part of a highly committed, small, fun team delivering at pace in an agile expanding environment. The role reports to the Head of Product & Digital and provides critical assistance, support and enhancements for the implementation of ServiceNow across our business.

**Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills**
**Take overall ownership under direction of the Digital delivery lead, other test specialists and the development team to explore and build out appropriate testing strategies across the following domains: -**
- Unit testing to ensure smallest testable parts of the software operate correctly
- Integration testing to ensure components of a system interact correctly
- System testing to ensure end to end functionality
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the software operates as intended in the ‘real world’
- Performance, load and stress testing to ensure non-functional needs are met
**As a Test Analyst, you will be accountable for: -**
- Test planning and preparation for all managed phases
- Perform QA of System Test, SIT and ETE test conditions and test cases, to ensure deliverables are aligned with expected quality
- Prepare any necessary data for test execution
- Prepare test cases and test scripts in line with experience, diligence and accuracy on requirements
- Execute all test cases in professional and diligent manner
- Record all test results accurately and thoroughly
- Raise defects as required capturing all relevant information enabling the repeatability of the defect
- Provide UAT and Build Verification Testing (BVT) coverage walkthroughs to nominated Business Testing participants prior to execution
- Work with Business Team during reviews of Process Maps and User Stories
- Excellent inter-personal skills and requires interaction with multiple stakeholders across BAs, Developers, Product Owners and senior stakeholders to represent testing as a critical function
- To be an SME on the functionality across multiple modules and use knowledge and skill to raise key gaps in the requirement gathering phase
- Contribute to regular Showcase sessions
