Cambridge, New Zealand Fiasco Ltd Full time NZ$60,000 - NZ$90,000 per year

Industrial/Product Designer

Fiasco Ltd

Kickstart your design career with this exciting opportunity to join a growing design team in Cambridge with global reach.

Join the dynamic team at Fiasco Ltd as a Product Designer. In this full-time role based in Cambridge, Waikato, you'll design and build innovative product and furniture solutions that reflect our obsession with exceptional design and practical, hands-on creation.

About the role

This isn't a sit-behind-a-screen design job. You'll be building, cutting, assembling, and testing your ideas every day. We value hands-on makers who learn by doing and aren't afraid to pick up a tool, make something, break something, then solve the problem.

Our manufacturing approach centres on CNC routers and lean processes. We run a rapid Design–Prototype–Evaluate Loop, so you'll often see your ideas move from CAD to the shop floor to real-world testing on the same day.

About us

Fiasco Ltd is a leading design and manufacturing company specialising in innovative product solutions. With a strong focus on sustainability and exceptional design, we've built a reputation for high-quality products that genuinely improve people's lives.

We're a Kiwi-owned company operating since 2013, with teams in New Zealand, China, and the US. Our Cambridge crew works closely with our manufacturing partners in both NZ and Los Angeles—designs can become reality overnight and in customers' hands within days.
