**Product Support Specialist - Genetics (fixed term)**

**About the role**
- **Product Support**: Serve as the primary escalation point for product-related inquiries from the sales team, ensuring customer success by improving their understanding of how our products align with their specific needs. Assist in executing the tactical and strategic plans for the Genetics Business Unit. Support LIC's industry networks and partnerships, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders both within and outside the organization.
- **Customer & Market Analysis**: Conduct thorough customer research and market analysis to inform the development and enhancement of genetics products. Stay abreast of industry trends and gather insights that drive data-informed decisions.
- **Product Delivery**: Generate detailed reports and analyses to support customers in their adoption and ongoing use of our genetics products. Ensure these insights guide customer decisions and enhance product adoption.

**About you**
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A tertiary qualification in Agri-business
- Experience in the agricultural sector, with knowledge of herd improvement and bull selection. An understanding of product management principles and practical experience in product development, analysis, research, or related sales or marketing functions.
- Strong analytical skills, with proficiency in working with data to gain insights and aid decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas confidently to diverse groups.
- Proficiency with common business software tools, and experience with modelling tools like Microsoft Excel and SQL query is beneficial.
