As part of our continued regional expansion, we are seeking a Solar EPC Business Development Manager to drive INTEC's growth and market presence across New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead INTEC's business development strategy for utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects across New Zealand.
  • Build strong client and partner relationships, engaging with developers, investors, landowners, utilities, and government agencies.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities, manage the project pipeline, and develop proposals that align with INTEC's technical and commercial strengths.
  • Contribute to financial modelling and commercial analysis to evaluate project feasibility, pricing, and risk.
  • Represent INTEC at industry events and forums, enhancing our visibility and reputation as a trusted renewable energy partner.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5 years' experience in business development or commercial leadership within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong understanding of EPC commercial models, BOOT, PPP, and PPA frameworks.
  • Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with experience engaging at executive and investor level.
  • Solid financial and commercial acumen, including business case and financial model development.
  • Established network across the New Zealand renewable energy market.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, or a related field (MBA or postgraduate preferred).
