We're looking for an experienced Design Engineer/ Estimator to deliver safe, efficient, and innovative network designs for new connections, upgrades, and internal projects. 

In this role, you will:

  • Manage projects from concept to completion
  • Deliver detailed overhead and underground network designs
  • Prepare cost estimates, technical reports, and compliance documentation
  • Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and performance

What you'll bring:

  • 5–10 years' experience in the electricity distribution industry
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical preferred)
  • Strong design and project management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office, COLDNet, Neara/LIDAR, and ERP systems (NAVision, Ellipse, or Oracle)
  • Excellent communication and probl em-solving ability
  • Current, full NZ Driver's licence
