This is a Project Management position, with a focus on Carpet and Vinyl Estimation and QA, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our carpet installations.

You will conduct thorough audits, provide accurate estimates, and oversee post-installation quality assurance.

This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook.

Applicants must have a NZ Permanent Residence Visa or be a NZ Citizen.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed audits of carpet installations to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Provide accurate and timely estimates for carpet installation projects.
  • Oversee post-installation quality assurance to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with installation teams to address any issues or discrepancies.
  • Utilize MS Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook for communication, documentation, and reporting.
  • Travel the lower North Island every two weeks to conduct audits and quality assurance checks.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Carpet and Vinyl Installer.
  • Hold NZQA National Certificate in Flooring (L4 - Floor planning and design) or (Trade Certificate in carpet and linoleum planning)
  • Hold NZQA National Certificate in Flooring (L4 - Carpet and resilient installation) or (Trade Certificate in carpet and linoleum planning)
  • Strong knowledge of carpet and vinyl installation techniques and standards.
  • Crucial understanding of Vinyl preparation requirements.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially MS Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel to the lower North Island every two weeks.
  • Ability to pass a medical examination and police vetting checks.
