Maintenance Engineer, Marlborough Winery

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our Capital Projects team, based at our Marlborough Winery. This exciting role will be responsible for undertaking day to day repairs, planning and execution of preventative maintenance programmes and assisting in the delivery of process infrastructure projects to enable the winery to continue to produce high-quality wines.
What you'll be doing
- Ensuring the winery's plant, equipment, process infrastructure, services and utilities operate safely and reliably
- Day to day repairs and preventative maintenance of all winery plant and equipment
- Ensuring spare parts and consumable inventories are maintained at an adequate level
- Managing and working with contract service providers
- Ensure compliance of the winery plant and equipment.
- Monitoring and control of the winery Liquid Waste Treatment Plant
- Through the use of good housekeeping practices, maintain a safe and well-presented World Class winery facility.
- Assisting with the capital investment programme, installing and commissioning new equipment and providing input into the design of new winery projects
What you'll bring
- Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a relevant industrial role with strong technical expertise
- Demonstrated experience with computerised maintenance management software (CMMS)
- A relevant mechanical trade qualification
- Clear and confident communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and adapt your style
- A 'can do' attitude, strong collaborative approach and high attention to detail
- A 'winning together' mindset through understanding the perspectives of others and maintaining strong bonds
