Due to continuous growth, we are seeking a Vineyard Engineer to join our Marlborough team. Working in our modern workshop which contains a full gantry, vehicle lift and welding bay, the successful applicant will be reporting directly to our National Workshops Manager. Responsibilities will include:

  • Replacement of bearings, chains, sprockets, belts: This includes inspecting and replacing worn or damaged components to ensure smooth operation and prevent breakdowns.
  • General diagnostic and fault finding of Fendt and John Deere tractors: Utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve issues in the tractors' mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Servicing of all vineyard machinery: Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, lubrication, and adjustments to keep machinery running efficiently.

About you

  • Demonstrated experience as a tractor mechanic, auto electrician, fitter turner, or maintenance fitter
  • Trade qualified
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and on your own delivering high-quality outcomes
  • Clear and confident communication skills,
  • A 'can do' attitude, strong collaborative approach and high attention to detail
