You will need to have experience in planning, resourcing, and co-ordinating delivery of your projects from start to finish.A tertiary qualified engineer is preferred, but we would not discount someone that has a range of experience built up over many years who could prove successful delivery of civil projects and teamsin their career. You will need a good understanding of all relevant NZS Standards and industry specifications.The ability to lead through a positive means while also driving a positive safety culture, working to 'best for project outcomes' will be another key strength of yours, as well as having a collaborative approach to working with all parties.You will need to take ownership and accountability for your work, managing your own project workload from tendering, financial controls, stakeholder management and staff development through to practical completion.Key Attributes for role:· years work experience post-graduation with relevant civil qualification· Practical experience working on construction sites· Motivated and willingness to learn and grow your career· Problem solving mentality· Good communication skills to manage client, subcontractors, and operators.· Good understanding of specific NZ standards and specifications.· Good understanding of NZS3910 :2013  and the Construction Contracts Act.· Good understanding of the Health & Safety act and managing quality systems and process.· Competent user of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.· Be a New Zealand Resident or CitizenSound like you?
