Harbour Cancer & Wellness is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Clinical Trials Research Nurse to join our dedicated clinical trials team, delivering high-quality oncology care to our patients.

This role is responsible for the coordination and delivery of both direct and indirect care, including associated data collection, of research study protocols being undertaken at Harbour Cancer & Wellness. This requires detailed knowledge of each study protocol and a familiarity with the progress of participants in each study.

You will uphold internationally accepted Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards to ensure rigor in clinical research

The successful candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • A NZ Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate
  • Experience in Medical Oncology and/or Haematology preferred but not essential (preferred)
  • Extensive research experience and understanding of ICH-GCP guidelines, ideally in a drug development setting
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Treaty of Waitangi applied in nursing practice
  • Ideally a post-graduate qualification (preferred not essential)
  • Capable & highly organised
  • Teamwork
  • Patient and family/whanau centred

This is a full time role working from Monday to Friday at our Newmarket site.
