**About the Role**

This is a great opportunity for a Registered Nurse looking to progress your career away from shift work, but where you can use your expertise to help nurture and support clinical staff as a **Quality Partner **starting on a** 6-month Fixed Term Contract.** Working across the Central and North Auckland region, you will be enabling our Care Home Managers and Clinical Managers to effectively deliver continuous quality improvement and excellent care in their homes.
- This role will involve travel to our 8 care homes across the North / Central Auckland, of which 2 are in Northland, where you will be involved in:_
- Developing and Imbedding quality systems in care homes.
- Assist with implementation of corrective actions following CHHC’s and spot audits, provide coaching support through the process.
- Provide orientation to new Care Home Managers and Clinical Managers regarding quality systems and the Continuous Quality Improvement cycle.
- Role model, nurture, and enable care home staff with delivery of education and training techniques.
- Assist care homes with preparation for surveillance and certification audits and support post surveillance/ certification audits.

**What About You**:

- Registered Nurse with current annual practising certificate together with a minimum five years registered nursing experience.
- Experience in the aged care sector desirable.
- Preferred previous experience in a quality assurance / quality improvement role or active involvement in quality improvement activities.
- Empathetic with ability to communicate succinctly.
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
