About the role
The Senior Health and Safety Advisor provides support and technical advice at a site level, while also supporting the development, implementation and continuous improvement of health and safety across the wider business.
Duties
- Investigations and auditing
- Injury management
- Coordinate onsite health monitoring
- Facilitate committee meetings
- Monthly reporting
Skills and experience
Excellent communication is key to your success in this role. Working alongside long-standing operations staff and management, you'll be adept at coaching and influencing across all levels. This is a mature environment, with well-established foundations, which you will build on.
- Significant experience in heavy industry – manufacturing is preferable
- Relevant qualification in workplace health and safety
- Advanced Microsoft Office and IT skills
- Proven experience in design and development of risk reduction projects
- Able to travel nationally as required
