We’re on the lookout for a confident and capable **Health, Safety / HR Advisor** to join our team in a hands-on, site-based role that’s all about supporting our people and creating a great and safe place to work.

**About the Role**
Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, with support from our Group HR and H&S teams, you’ll coach leaders on safety and people related topics and initiatives, champion wellbeing and compliance, support new starters, and roll out frameworks that help our teams thrive.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Supporting the delivery of our H&S plan and promoting a safety-first culture
- Coaching leaders on performance, engagement, and people leadership
- Investigating incidents, identifying risks, and helping reduce workplace injuries
- Supporting employment relations processes and guiding managers with confidence
- Coordinating onboarding and induction experiences that set people up for success
- Helping embed HR frameworks like performance reviews, policies, and recognition
- Supporting internal comms, toolbox talks, and engagement activities
- Using data and insights to inform improvements in both H&S and HR practices
Keeping systems and records up to date and compliant

**What you’ll bring**:

- Experience in a similar dual HR/H&S advisor or generalist role
- Solid understanding of NZ employment and health & safety legislation
- Confidence working with frontline managers and building trusted relationships
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset and ability to juggle competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and a down-to-earth, approachable style
- A passion for supporting people to be safe, engaged, and successful in their roles
