About the Role
This senior finance position plays a key role in driving strategic decision-making through insightful forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with executive leadership and the board, leading a high-performing FP&A function that supports business growth and operational excellence. This role takes a hands-on role in developing financial models, improving reporting systems which in turn strengthens business performance visibility.
Key Responsibilities will include the following:
- Lead the annual budgeting cycle, financial modelling, and medium-long term forecasting.
- Partner with the executive team on strategic initiatives, ROI, and investment planning.
- Deliver clear, data-led insights through robust variance analysis and reporting.
- Manage and mentor the FP&A Analyst, fostering analytical excellence and commercial acumen.
- Enhance performance dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI and ERP systems.
So Who Are You And What Is Your Profile?
You're an experienced finance professional with 5-10 years in FP&A, commercial finance, or strategic planning, backed by a finance or accounting degree as well as a CA/CPA/CFA/CIMA qualification. You will have proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting processes for large organisations.
You have a sharp analytical mindset, advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, and experience working with financial performance tools. Prior experience using Technology One and Power BI would be a big advantage. You're commercially savvy, capable of linking financial outcomes to business drivers, and have a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders with data-driven insights.
You thrive in fast-paced environments, balancing competing priorities while delivering high-quality reporting and planning. Known for your strategic thinking and leadership, you enjoy mentoring others, improving financial processes, and challenging assumptions to drive continuous improvement.
