Financial Analyst

**He aha te mahi? What's the role?**:
This is a key position within the Financial Planning & Analysis team and is critical to the successful analysis and reporting of Group results to Zespri management, the Zespri Board and Board sub committees.

Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager, the Financial Analyst will play a key role in the coordination, consolidation and review of market fruit returns across Zespri.

This role requires the Financial Analyst to build strong relationships across market finance teams as well as key business stakeholders. It will require a collaborative approach and a dedication to constantly delivering accurate and well-explained forecasts. Challenging key assumptions, introducing perspectives, insights and analysis that support quality decision making is critical to the success of this role.

The Analyst needs to be proficient in handling data both in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools e.g. SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP BW. Continuous improvement of reporting tools is a key component of this role.

You will meet the following selection criteria:

- Tertiary qualification in business, accounting or finance.
- CAANZ or similar finance qualification is desirable.
- 5+ year’s relevant experience in a similar role in a commercial organisation.
- Advanced Excel, Database, Word and PowerPoint skills.
- Exposure to SAP and SAC Analytics would be highly benefical.
- Power BI experience is preferred.
- Kiwifruit industry knowledge/experience preferred but not essential.
- Results oriented with a strong focus on quality and meeting customer needs through analysis and reporting.
- A good team player. Has the ability to work as part of a team, working collaboratively with fellow members of the Financial Planning Team and representatives of other departments to complete projects and deliver results.
