About the role:

The Digital Marketing Lead is a newly created role, responsible for operating the digital marketing tools including configuration, marketing data strategy and optimisation campaign effectiveness to drive business outcomes.

You will have a key eye for detail and be able to work with both internal and external stakeholders on key projects and initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Building and managing marketing automation workflows: Creating automated sequences of marketing actions based on customer behaviour and data.
  • Working with the Technology team to integrate new data sources by providing data integration requirements and segmentation to create detailed customer profiles and segment audiences for targeted campaigns.
  • Support campaign creation and execution: Building
  • and launching automated email campaigns and other marketing initiatives across various channels.
  • Develop and coordinate marketing testing and optimisation plans to improve engagement and conversion.
  • Implement best practices for lead management, attribution, and lifecycle tracking within the CRM environment.
  • Where required this role will be a key contributor and stream lead to relevant projects within the business including CRM/Automation.
  • Responsibility of ongoing management of the MA platform.

About you:

  • Experience in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, etc.).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical requirements into business-friendly insights.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and draw actionable insights.

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in marketing automation (eg exposure to Marketo, HubSpot, Braze).

  • Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and A/B testing.

  • Strong understanding of CRM integrations (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and marketing data flows.

  • Experience managing end-to-end marketing automation migrations with minimal disruption to ongoing campaigns.

Desirable:

  • Financial Services or adjacent services experience.

  • Prior experience in 'Direct to Consumer' business models with a strong digital focus
