Digital Marketing & Content Specialist (6-Month Contract)

Automate-X is on the hunt for a Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to bring our brand to life and light up the internet - one robot, one video, and one viral post at a time.

We're not just building smarter warehouses; we're redefining what's possible with automation. Think Amazon Robotics, but with our Kiwi/Aussie twist — and we need your creative spark to help tell our story to the world.

What you'll do:

You'll be our digital storyteller, taking ideas from spark to screen. From scroll-stopping videos to captivating posts and clever campaigns, you'll craft content that connects and converts.

  • Create and schedule engaging posts across LinkedIn, YouTube, Meta, and beyond.
  • Shoot, edit, and produce photos and videos that make industrial tech look seriously cool.
  • Dream up and deliver email campaigns that people actually want to open.
  • Keep our Knowledge Centre fresh with content that educates and inspires.
  • Team up with external creatives (videographers, designers, animators) to make big ideas happen — fast.
  • Track, tweak, and celebrate the results — because numbers tell great stories too.
What makes you awesome:

You're part creative, part strategist, and 100% storyteller. You get just as excited about analytics as you do about aesthetics — and you know how to grab attention in a noisy digital world.

Bonus points if you can:

Create slick animations, motion graphics, or 3D visuals.

Use AI tools to boost your creative process or automate workflows.

Build funnels or campaigns that turn clicks into clients.

Have a proven knack for viral content (we love a good success story).

Must-haves:

  • 2+ years' experience in marketing, communications, or content creation.
  • Solid knowledge of LinkedIn, Meta, and YouTube.
  • Strong photography/videography skills and editing know-how (Adobe Suite, CapCut, or whatever works for you).
  • Excellent writing chops — you can turn technical talk into human-friendly magic.
  • Organised, proactive, and ready to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball.
