As a Senior Business Analyst, you will work closely with the Business Architecture Lead to translate strategic goals into actionable insights, ensuring business needs are clearly understood and effectively delivered. You will lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business requirements, facilitate stakeholder engagement, and contribute to the design and optimisation of business processes. Acting as a conduit between business stakeholders, delivery teams, and technology teams, you will ensure quality solutions that align with Gallagher's strategic objectives.

This role goes beyond traditional requirements gathering - it's about driving continuous strategy, transformation, and innovation to deliver exceptional outcomes for our organisation and customers.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

Relationship & Stakeholder Management

• Engage stakeholders to capture business needs and translate into clear documentation.
• Bridge business and technical teams for accurate requirement translation.
• Validate solutions to ensure alignment with expectations and strategy.
• Partner with project teams and vendors to deliver outcomes aligned with business benefits.

Process Architecture & Design

• Lead process design and improvement focused on user experience and efficiency.
• Apply analysis methods for change initiatives: mapping, testing, transition planning.
• Use modern tools to uncover insights and opportunities.
• Ensure governance compliance and support risk/issue analysis.
• Manage risks, issues, and change control throughout project lifecycle.

Strategic Support

• Support alignment of analysis activities with the strategic roadmap.
• Contribute to delivering the benefit plans, and user-experience artefacts.
• Ensure solutions deliver measurable improvements tied to organisational goals.

People & Culture

• Foster collaboration and support project managers for successful delivery.
• Work with peers to advance and promote business analysis practices.
• Coach SMEs on analysis methodologies.
• Advocate best practices in analysis and user experience design.
• Champion agile ways of working and a culture of problem-solving and learning

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in business analysis, with a focus on user experience and business outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Expertise in process architecture, design, and optimisation.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to align initiatives with organisational goals.
• A collaborative mindset and a passion for fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and a growth mindset.
