The Opportunity:

As the Distribution Centre Manager, you'll be responsible for the efficient, safe, and timely movement of stock across our supply network. You'll lead a dedicated warehouse team, plan, organise and monitor all distribution activities throughout the branch network and provide effective leadership to the distribution centre team in the storage, transportation, distribution of goods, to support business growth and drive continuous improvement to deliver exceptional service to our branches and customers.

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

·    Oversee all Distribution Centre operations

·    Manage and develop distribution staff to foster a safe, positive, and high-performing team culture

·    Ensure all Health & Safety, compliance, and quality standards are met or exceeded

·    Maintain accurate inventory and optimise stock levels through effective systems and planning

·    Collaborate with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to improve efficiency and service delivery.

·    Identify and implement process improvements to streamline distribution operations

What you'll bring:

·    Proven experience managing warehouse or distribution centre operations

·    Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills

·    Sound knowledge of inventory control, logistics, and safety compliance

·    Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office

·    A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

·    Forklift certification and/or logistics qualifications are advantageous
