The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Night Shift Supervisor – Distribution to lead our evening warehouse operations. Reporting directly to the Distribution Manager, this leadership role is responsible for coordinating the nightly distribution shift to ensure product integrity, operational efficiency, and timely delivery to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the night shift team to deliver nightly distribution plans
  • Oversee order preparation and dispatch activities in line with quality and compliance standards
  • Monitor inventory movements and ensure accurate system updates and documentation
  • Manage workflow, team performance, and shift outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with MPI regulations and company food safety and health & safety protocols
  • Communicate effectively across departments to support smooth operations
  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to night shift team members
  • Complete shift reports and related administrative tasks

What You Bring

  • Strong knowledge of NZ Health & Safety legislation and best practices
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a distribution or logistics environment
  • Understanding of MPI requirements, inventory systems, and compliance processes
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other warehouse management systems
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Forklift license preferred (not essential)
