About the company:

Alpine Helicopters is a family owned business based at the Wanaka Airport.  With our modern fleet of helicopters, we provide a wide range of aviation services from scenic flights, agriculture work, firefighting and private charters.

About the role:

We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated, practically minded and able individual to support our aviation business to perform a range of operational tasks.

The successful applicant will enjoy solving operational problems, have a natural affinity for scheduling, dispatching and coordinating and will take pride in their work. You will have excellent phone and personal manner; attention to detail; ability to work under pressure and multi task whilst remaining calm and professional.

Key tasks include;

  • Flight following including radio communications
  • Booking and scheduling of operations
  • Maintain Aviation records
  • Front line tasks & client management
  • Client briefings and loading helicopters
  • Initiating Emergency Response Procedures

This is a permanent part-time position based in Wanaka with requirement to work a flexible roster, including weekends, to meet operational requirements of the business. Previous aviation experience would be advantageous.
