About the role
We're looking for a dedicated and passionate marketing coordinator to join the U-Fly Wanaka team. In this dynamic role, you'll lead our marketing strategy and key marketing initiatives - managing the brand's digital presence, creating compelling content, and working closely with internal and external partners to grow brand awareness and drive engagement.
The role also includes secondary operational duties, such as providing customer service and reception support to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.
Key Tasks include
- Plan, develop, and organize marketing campaigns to promote U-Fly Wanaka's flight training and scenic flight services.
- Drive & spearhead marketing strategies to reach U-Fly's target markets, grow brand awareness and support U-Fly's performance and sales objectives.
- Manage and grow U-Fly Wanaka's social media presence across all relevant platforms, creating engaging and on-brand content (text, images, and video).
- Prepare promotional materials such as flyers, brochures, email newsletters, and digital advertisements (includes copywriting and art work creation).
- Coordinate with external vendors, photographers, and designers as required to support marketing initiatives.
- Track, analyse, and report on performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Conduct relevant market research & analyse data regarding consumer patterns, preferences and market trends.
- Maintain and update the company website with current information, news, and promotions.
- Advise on all elements of marketing such as pricing, advertising promotion, types of U-Fly services and distribution channels.
Secondary Tasks include
- Greet customers and visitors warmly as the first point of contact at the reception area.
- Assist with check-ins for customers and flight trainees, ensuring smooth and professional interactions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about flight experiences, training programs, and services offered by U-Fly Wanaka.
- Schedule and manage appointments, ensuring that flight bookings and customer appointments are organized efficiently.
- Handle phone calls, emails, and messages in a timely manner, providing accurate and helpful information to clients and trainees.
- Process customer payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate financial records.
Skills & Experience required
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing / Communication
- At least 2.5 years of previous marketing-related experience required for this permanent role
- Exceptional communication skills
- Being able to speak mandarin will be a plus but not required
- Experience with Marketing software (i.e. Canva)
- Able to work independently
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Strategic and creative problem-solver
As we are a 7 day/week operation, this role will be 40hrs/week and may require work on the weekends.
This is a Wanaka-based role. Applications close 5pm, 2/ 11 / 2025, unless filled prior.

Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour
