About the role

Motion Recruitment is looking for an experienced customer service representative for one of our great clients based in Christchurch, Canterbury. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for their clients, providing friendly and efficient assistance to help resolve their queries and meet their needs. This role will involve:

What you'll be doing

  • Responding to incoming calls, emails and messages from clients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Assisting clients with a range of inquiries and requests, from general information to more complex issues
  • Directing clients to the appropriate department or contact within the organisation to ensure their needs are met
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of client interactions and resolutions
  • Providing feedback and insights to help improve customer service processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally within the Transport & Logistics industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to effectively handle queries and find solutions
  • A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a commitment to exceeding client expectations
