With a focus on providing memorable experiences and occasions to our customers, we are on the hunt for an exceptional Hospitality Operations Manager.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced veteran in the hospitality industry to join our team. You must either be a Senior Duty Manager or Operations Manager for a large high traffic hospitality venue. This is a full-time pivotal role in our business and will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in leading and developing our FOH/Bar team, dealing with suppliers, managing stock, rostering, human resources and more.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless service and exceptional standards.
  • Greet guests, take orders, food service and handle payments
  • Lead and mentor a team of passionate staff, fostering a culture of fun, energy and continuous improvement.
  • Embrace a leadership style that nurtures collaboration, hard conversations and continuous improvement.
  • Always maintain remarkable turnout, setting the standard for the team.
  • Manage all restaurant and bar operations driving exceptional service and high performance standards during every busy shift
  • Manage rosters
  • Complete Management of Inventory including all orders

Qualifications & Experience

  • At least 3 year experience in a Senior Hospitality role in a high traffic venue
  • Proven experience as a Operations Manager, Duty Manager or General Manager in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • A track record of training and developing FOH teams. You will be a coach
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering consistent quality.
  • A real passion for hospitality – you will genuinely enjoy the experience of making someone's day but enjoy your job too
  • A Current NZ Managers Certificate
