**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Plan, manage and oversee all operational processes whilst ensuring quality, timeframes and budgets are adhered to
- Lead by example and inspire the team to achieve their best by providing ongoing mentoring, coaching and training to staff
- Ensure all work adheres to health and safety standards and delivers a safe working environment
- Manage the install of new machines & technology
- Responsible for budgets on key expense lines and production profitability
- Ensuring accuracy of production planning, maintaining, and reporting
- Negotiation of supply of raw material, ensuring competitiveness & adequate supply of essential products is maintained
- Coordination with logistics dept to insure DIFOT of product inwards and outwards
- Reporting on production volumes, setting priorities, communicating timeframes for production
- Manage any engineering projects and ensuring machine maintenance to manufacturers standards
- Organisation of work allocation / required shift work patterns, KPI's and weekend coverage

**What we're looking for**:

- Proven experience in an Operations management role; involving project management, planning and scheduling, quality control, and financial oversight
- Demonstrated practical experience and understanding of manufacturing
- Proven experience of delivering improvements in a manufacturing or related environment
- Excellent leadership skills with a passion for developing your teams and promoting a positive culture where success is recognised, and development encouraged
- Excellent business acumen with the ability to contribute to organisational plans, solve operational issues and manage business growth
