We are partnering with a fast-growing commercial business seeking a dynamic Senior Finance Partner to lead their financial strategy, scale the team, and support the next phase of growth. This role is ideal for a commercially-minded senior finance leader who thrives in an innovative, fast-paced commercial environment.

About the Role

As the company's senior finance leader, you will be responsible for shaping the financial future of the business while providing high-quality insights to the CEO and leadership team. This position plays a critical role in strategic planning, commercial decision-making, funding, and business performance.

You will lead a small but capable finance function while building the systems and processes required for a scaling commercial organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the financial strategy, planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Lead financial governance, risk management, and compliance
  • Provide commercial insight to support product, growth, and operational decisions
  • Oversee financial operations, reporting, payroll and cashflow management
  • Build, mentor, and develop the finance team as the business grows
  • Manage external relationships: auditors, investors, banks, tax advisors
  • Support capital raising, M&A activity, and board-level reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, data, and reporting
About You
  • Proven experience as a senior commercial/public sector finance leader or looking to move from a senior role in a top tier accounting firm
  • CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Experience scaling financial functions in a high-growth environment
  • Strong commercial judgement with the ability to partner with non-financial teams
  • Confident communicator, able to present to board and executive stakeholders
  • Comfortable operating strategically while staying hands-on where required
