About the Role

We are looking for a Project Health & Safety Coordinator to join the Capital Projects team at our Meadow Fresh dairy manufacturing site to facilitate the delivery of capital projects currently underway.

These projects include end-to-end integration and commissioning of a new membrane plant, three new milk storage silos, and a pipeline of further capex investment.

To make this happen, your responsibilities will include:

  • Permit issuing and permit auditing including contractor management and coordination
  • Hazard identification and JSEA/SSSP review and preparation
  • Site inspections, safety walks & toolbox talks
  • Implement H&S policies and industry best practices for construction methodology

About You

For this role to be a success you will need a background in Health & Safety and the ability to observe and apply relevant laws & regulations in an engineering/construction environment.

Skillsets, qualifications and experience we are looking for include:

  • Experience with permit issuing, JSEA development & review (in conjunction with permit receiver)
  • Prior experience in SOP preparation and review
  • Professional body certification or registration
  • Daily contractor coordination and time management
