Café Supervisor- The Campus

**We are growing our team at The Campus and we are looking to add a Café Supervisor to our team**

The Campus is a catering site located in Trentham within the NZCIS facilities and is focused on feeding all clients on site, from sports teams to Government departments, all who use the accommodation and training facilities run by NZCIS. You'll be working to help create a homely feel to the dining experience by working with clients to suit their catering needs - from cooked breakfasts and packed lunches to feeding 300 people in a dinner service We are increasing our presence in the facilities, and therefore we are looking to grow our team

**In this role, you will be responsible for**:

- Managing our compliance in terms of H&S etc.
- Recruiting and training
- Overseeing the booking process
- Being aware of COG, wages & sales targets nightly and weekly and being proactive about achieving them
- Offering sales generating ideas to the General Manager that target existing customer base/ new customers
- Being present during key service times
- Supporting the General Manager with administrative duties on an ad-hoc basis
- Previous experience in a management role of similar large scale catering environment or multiple venues
- Excellent people leadership skills
- Awesome organisational skills
- An approachable and friendly demeanor
- A great attention to detail
- Most importantly, a passion for creating memorable experiences for all of our guests
