Customer Service Representative – 6-Month Fixed Term

About the role

Vynco are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join Vynco on a 6-month fixed term contract. This role is all about delivering exceptional support to our customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders while helping keep our operations running smoothly.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy, varied role and wants to contribute to one of New Zealand's leading electrical component manufacturers.

What you'll be doing

  • Deliver high-quality customer service across phone, email, and walk-ins
  • Process customer orders, stock transfers, and support project deliveries
  • Manage customisation jobs including stock ordering, ETAs, and invoicing
  • Prepare accurate quotes and support the sales team with pricing requests
  • Follow up on quotes, customer queries, and outstanding actions
  • Provide product and technical support, escalating where needed
  • Manage back-orders, stock updates, and communication with Purchasing
  • Maintain accurate CRM data and assist with sales team administration
  • Process credits, RA forms, and compile credit reporting
  • Support stock adjustments, write-offs, and general stock administration

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong computer skills (Office Suite, Excel, internal systems)
  • Customer-first mindset with a positive, solutions-focused approach
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team
  • Professional discretion and confidentiality
  • A knack for analysing information and improving processes
