Finance Business Partner

Excellent opportunity to translate the numbers into actions and get amongst a growing business in Christchurch. This role partners with operational leaders, provides strategic financial guidance, and steers the business towards growth. Joining a young and dynamic team, they are looking for someone with finance experience and a commercial mindset.

Key Tasks Include

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand performance, opportunity, and risk
  • Preparing month end reports and commentary on performance
  • Lead forecasting and budgeting cycles
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment with financial objectives
  • Ensure compliance with finance policies, tax, and reporting standards
  • Report findings to management to assist with company direction and process improvements

We Anticipate the Successful Candidate To

Be a confident communicator with both financial and non-financial stakeholders. With strong analytical and commercial skills, you'll thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Have experience in a business partnering or commercial finance role
  • Strong budgeting, forecasting, and modelling capability
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking highly beneficial
