Little High is growing, and we're looking for a confident Duty Manager to help lead our vibrant, fast-paced venue. If you love people and hospitality, this role is for you.

The Duty Manager's role:

  • Reporting to the senior duty manager, you will be responsible for running your shift, ensuring the diners have a good experience in our venue
  • Ensure compliance with legal regulations concerning the sale and service of alcohol
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue, ensuring efficient and smooth functioning.
  • Coordinate with vendors and maintenance personnel to guarantee optimal functioning of equipment and facilities.
  • Ensure staff compliance with responsible service of alcohol guidelines and laws

Team Leadership:

  • Train and supervise the Wait Staff Team and Team Leaders to provide ongoing coaching and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, efficiency, and a customer-centric approach.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service standards are upheld at all times.
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and compliance with the venue's health
  • Take corrective actions and implement necessary protocols to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (2 Years) in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, specifically in alcohol service management in a fast-paced Eatery or Food court
  • LCQ & Duty Manager licenses are essential.
  • Hospitality Management Diploma Qualification or equivalent.
  • Available to Work on Rotating Roster and Late Night Shifts.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing alcohol service.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Available to Work Split Shifts.

The position is permanent and involves being rostered on weekends and nights. The Duty Manager role can involve split shifts and 35 hours minimum per week. The pay rate is from $26-$30 per hour.
