Experienced Finance Administrator to work in our Wellington office
Kiio design and produce high-end corporate events for the national and international market.
This is a comprehensive, hands-on role where you will take complete ownership of the daily financial flow and general office administration.
Key Financial Responsibilities:
· Financial Control: Manage daily cash flow, implement strict credit and debit control, and maintain an accurate company budget.
· Accounts Management: Oversee the full Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable cycle, including processing invoices, organising contractor payments, and diligent debtor management to ensure timely collections.
· Reporting & Compliance: Generate accurate and timely financial reports for the Managing Director, provide sales and supplier turnover reports, and prepare all necessary financial information for the annual compilation by external accountants. You will ensure consistent tax compliance and provide accurate cash flow projections.
HR & Administration Focus:
· Payroll: Manage the complete payroll function, including processing wages, maintaining staff records, accurately tracking TIL/annual leave balances, and proactively advising management on changes to payroll legislation, including the Holidays Act.
· Compliance: Regularly review and update employee paperwork, policies, and procedures to ensure full statutory compliance with New Zealand law.
· General Administration: Handle essential office duties, including managing supplies, maintaining the asset register for insurance, renewing policies, managing company credit cards and maintaining efficient filing/archiving systems.
The Ideal Candidate:
You must have exceptional attention to detail, strong proficiency in Xero and Excel, and a proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills are essential.
