We require a detail focused Operations Manager with a great attitude and a demonstrated commitment to quality and communication to join our team servicing the Auckland region.

THE ROLE

You will be responsible for overseeing the operations as well as assessing and preparing repair quotations, and engaging, coordinating and managing trades during the repair of residential and commercial buildings in Auckland and the wider Auckland region.

This role is based in Auckland; however, travel is required within NZ.

THE REQUIREMENT


• Minimum 5 years' experience in Insurance Sector


• Experience at management level


• Trade qualified carpenter with minimum 5 years experience post qualification.


• LBP Carpentry.


• LBP Site 2 certified.


• Extensive Construction knowledge.


• Site Safe Passport.


• Working knowledge of building codes and regulations.


• Experience managing multiple projects ($20K-$500K).


• Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers within the building industry.


• Excellent communication and problem solving skills.


• Great customer service skills.


• Superior computer literacy.

You must have previous experience assessing and managing repairs arising from insurance claims and be able to draw on your life experiences to provide solutions. You will be skilled in developing business relationships with new and prospective clients.
