Our client Our client is an ambitious New Zealand financial services organisation experiencing significant growth. They provide holistic financial and investment services to a broad and expanding client base, helping individuals make confident, long-term financial decisions.

They are on a mission to transform how Kiwis engage with their money and build a industry-defining business. Their three-year growth strategy involves scaling their Wealth division significantly, and this role is a key part of making that happen.

With the business scaling quickly, they're now looking for an Operations Manager who can bring structure, clarity, and momentum to their next phase of growth. This is a newly shaped role for someone who enjoys building frameworks, improving processes, and translating strategy into seamless day-to-day operations.

The roleAs the Operations Manager, you'll work closely with the Wealth Director to strengthen the business from the inside out. You'll ensure operational excellence, support future expansion, and elevate the quality and efficiency of internal systems.

In this role, you will:

  • Translate strategic goals into clear operational plans, processes, and systems
  • Build and maintain effective workflows, documentation, and SOPs
  • Oversee performance analytics, reporting, and financial metrics to support decision-making and business performance
  • Support scaling initiatives such as onboarding, integration of new client portfolios, and improved service delivery
  • Contribute to acquisition strategy and initiatives that drive growth of the Wealth division
  • Drive adoption of technology, automation, and tools to enhance productivity
  • Maintain compliance-aligned operational standards and ensure processes meet regulatory and service expectations
  • Collaborate closely with leadership and the team to uplift consistency, client experience, and operational excellence
