We are looking for a Fire Systems Tester to join our team. Your main objectives would include:

  • Routine testing and surveying of fire alarm systems
  • Routine testing of emergency lighting
  • Building Warrant of Fitness Inspections
  • Maintaining and developing existing and new customer relationships.
  • Adhering to Quality Management and Health & Safety requirements.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in the fire protection industry.
  • (Preferred) National Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (Testing) (Level 3) or relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and ability in planning of jobs through to completion.

Keeping cool under pressure is second nature as is the ability to think on your feet and problem solve any issues you may encounter. Your approachable nature means you love working as part of a team and you are always willing to pitch in and help to get the job done but are just as comfortable working on your own. You must be able to communicate effectively with people of all levels, have a positive attitude and a great sense of humour.
