Role Purpose:

To assist the Village Manager with the smooth running of the Lifestyle Village by effectively and efficiently providing administrative duties to ensure the Village and Residents' needs are met in a professional manner while maintaining a clean and safe environment.

As the Village Assistant you will provide administrative, project planning, time management and Health & Safety support to the Village Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing monitoring of Health and Safety within the village and ensuring all Health and Safety documentation is maintained at all times.
  • Assisting Village Manager with RVA documentation.
  • Responsible for the implementation and organisation of fire evacuations within the Village on a regular basis.
  • Project plans for refurbishments are prepared in a timely manner for the Village Manager once the quoting has been completed and also liaise with the Refurb / Maintenance Person, with this process.
  • Assist Village Manager with the implementation and project management of the Long-Term Maintenance Plan and other projects.
  • Policies & Procedures – reviewing and re-writing, where necessary, in consultation with Village Manager.
  • Assist Village Manager and Receptionist when absent from the Village.
  • Assist with business hours our emergency response system to our residents.
  • To assist in the day-to-day running of the village when the Village Manager is absent.
  • Professional, strong, effective and caring communication with staff, residents and their families.
  • Any other tasks requested by the Village Manager
