About the role

As a Hotel Support at Proximity Apartments, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our guest accommodation services. This full-time position is based in Manukau, Auckland, and at times will involve work at our Sarin Hotels residential projects across Auckland region. You will be responsible for providing high-quality housekeeping and guest support services to our residents and visitors.

What you'll be doing

  • Perform thorough cleaning and housekeeping duties in guest rooms, common areas, and other designated spaces
  • Maintain an exceptional level of cleanliness and presentation throughout the apartments
  • Restock and replenish guest supplies and amenities as needed
  • Assist with guest check-in and check-out processes, providing exceptional customer service
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, ensuring a positive experience
  • Collaborate with the wider team to identify and implement process improvements
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe environment

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping or hotel support role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide friendly and efficient assistance to guests
  • Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and procedures
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to contribute to a collaborative work environment
  • Valid Driving licence would be preferred
