About the role

We're growing fast — and our Business Edge team has created a brand-new opportunity for a Business Analyst to join the action.

You'll work directly with SME clients across exciting industries, helping them understand their numbers and plan their next moves. From management reporting and forecasting to business planning and virtual CFO services, you'll play a hands-on role in driving real business outcomes.

This role is perfect for someone who's beyond compliance — you're ready to bring insights, influence decisions, and grow into a trusted business advisor.

About You

We are seeking a motivated professional accountant with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent tertiary qualification. We are wide open to where your experience has come from, you may have worked in an accounting practice or you may have worked in a commercial environment.

You'll bring:

  • A Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a professional services or business advisory environment.
  • Ideally, you're CA qualified (or close to it) and looking for the next challenge.
  • Experience working with cloud accounting platforms like Xero and related apps.
  • A genuine client focus, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude, a problem-solving mindset, and a collaborative team spirit.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients — delivering quality work on time, every time.
  • Building and delivering insightful management reports and business performance analysis.
  • Partner with clients to forecast growth, improve profitability, and manage cash flow.
  • Provide Virtual CFO support, helping clients make confident strategic decisions.
  • Communicate clearly with clients, providing proactive updates and solutions.
  • Collaborate with a dynamic team that values learning, innovation, and teamwork.
