Sport NZ is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to play a key role in delivering a new Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Investment/Grants Management (IM) solution as part of our Business Systems Reform programme. This is an exciting opportunity to shape systems and processes that will improve partner experiences and streamline internal operations. This is a full-time fixed term role, but a contracting role may be considered for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Head of Group Business Systems Reform, the Senior Business Analyst will:

  • Lead business analysis activities across complex projects.
  • Facilitate workshops and engagement sessions to gather and validate requirements.
  • Translate business needs into actionable requirements and user stories.
  • Support system design, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Assist with training, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Champion continuous improvement and identify opportunities for process optimisation.

The successful individual will have:

  • Experience:
  • 5+ years as a Business Analyst in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Proven track record delivering CRM and investment/grants management systems.

Familiarity with agile or hybrid project methodologies.
- Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Excellent communication and facilitation skills.

Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques.
- Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis, Information Systems, or similar.

Certifications such as CBAP or PMI-PBA are desirable.
