Working in our high performing PGG Wrightson Waikato Regional team, an opportunity has arisen for a Regional Administrator based in the Waikato or Bay of Plenty region.
This role is 16 hours per week with flexible arrangements possible for the right candidate. It will report to a Te Puke-based Upper North Island Regional Manager and support the completion of key administrative tasks to ensure the effective running of the business. The ability to work autonomously is important.
The successful applicant will have:
- Strong administration and office management skills
- The ability to provide outstanding customer service both internally and externally
- Flexibility to perform a range of tasks
- A focused personality which is critical.
Based in one of our Waikato or Bay of Plenty offices, the role will interact with all PGG Wrightson business units.
The successful applicant will need to be flexible and a 'Jack or Jill of all trades'. A can-do attitude and a willingness to help out operational teams where needed will ensure success.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Support to the Regional Manager including general administration, organising client and staff functions, and office management
- Preparing and checking detail to support finance contracts
- Assist and follow up on any queries related to credit, debtors, and accounts payable
- Event management tasks as required including in-house functions and external events
- Provide support on regional health and safety activity delivering on key responsibilities
- Provide a range of administration support to other business units as requested.
Skills and experience:
- The ability to work as a team player and get on with a range of people
- An outgoing and fun personality with high energy and the desire to progress within your career
- Proven computer and administration skills, including Microsoft Office
- A great customer service ethic along with excellent communication skills
- A solid work history with a minimum of three years' experience in a similar role
- New Zealand rural sector knowledge and experience will be an advantage.
