Balls and Bangles is a fast food restaurant located in the heart of Queenstown. We've been serving delicious bagel sandwiches, donuts, coffee, and shakes since 2016.

We have established a reputation for being fast, fresh, and friendly, and are currently looking for Baristas & Duty Managers to join our FOH team. Full and part-time positions available. Immediate start preferred.

We are seeking people who have a vibrant, energetic nature with a strong passion for the food industry. Your number one priority should always be the customer and providing them with a memorable experience.

Duty Manger role:

Reporting to the Cafe Manager, this role offers you the chance to lead the team during shifts, making sure the front-of-house is set up and closed down smoothly. You'll help maintain daily operating procedures and create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. By leading each shift with enthusiasm and care, you'll ensure our customers enjoy an amazing experience that truly reflects our brand's spirit.

Must hold a current duty manager certificate for the sale and supply of liquor and have at least 1 year of experience.

Barista role:

This is an all-rounder position. While making excellent coffees is a major part of the job, it also involves providing prompt and friendly service, preparing bagel sandwiches to order, and maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the café.

Experience as a barista is required. Previous experience in a fast-paced hospitality setting is preferred. Must have strong communication skills, along with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

Applicants must be available to work weekends and public holidays and be willing to make a long-term commitment to the job. Availability through the busy Christmas and New Year period is a must (applicants without Christmas and New Year availability won't be considered this time).
