ACC ADMINISTRATOR

Crest Hospital is a leading provider of private surgical hospital care in the lower North Island. We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as an ACC Administrator where you will play a crucial role.

You will be responsible for a range of tasks relating to gaining ACC approvals for surgery, maintaining, and updating our ACC spreadsheets as well as surgery invoicing. You will need to be organised, detail-oriented, and work well under pressure.

This is a 0.8FTE position working Monday to Friday with Public Holidays off as well as a planned hospital closure over the Christmas – New Year break. Please note this role will commence in the New Year

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Accurate preparation of ARTP's to submit to ACC including surgery estimates as necessary.

· Relaying ACC's response of surgery requests to surgeons.

· Preparation of ACC files.

· Updating and maintaining ACC spreadsheets.

· Preparation of ACC invoices and submission of Related Provider invoices.

· Emailing operation notes and other related documents to ACC.

· Electronic uploads of ACC invoicing.

· Support and back up to other team members.

· General Office administration.

Key requirements:

· Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Have an excellent work ethic.

· Previous experience in an invoicing or billing role with a strong understanding of financial systems and procedures is necessary.

· Excellent time management and organisation skills.

· Ability to learn quickly and retain information.

· A team player who can work alongside and provide support to other team members.

· Flexible and willing to take on new challenges.

· Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Outlook.

· Knowledge of webPAS is an advantage.
