We are seeking a MSP Support Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis. This would suit a curious, inquisitive junior-intermediate candidate who enjoys building long-lasting relationships and working with unusual technologies

Duties for the role include, but are not limited to:

-Overall support of IT environment, including critical systems. - Becoming an expert in the technology, and supporting end users. 

- Continuous hardware and software monitoring.

- Building strong relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ad-hoc duties. 

The candidate must exhibit the following characteristics:- A self-motivated approach, with a natural curiosity to learn new things. 

- Strong work ethic 

- Desire and ability to build relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 

- Experience with Windows servers & Windows devices. 

- Understanding of networks. 

- Some scripting knowledge, ideally PowerShell.

The candidate would also ideally have the following experience:

- Experience working in a small team, and aptitude working in broad roles.

-  A full NZ Drivers License.

Some further things to note:

- This role is based in the office five days a week, in Palmerston North. Some customer visits may be required – We look after clients across the lower North Island.

- The candidate must already have the legal right to work in New Zealand and be resident within New Zealand upon application.

The candidate must have a good telephone manner with a strong command of English.

years of experience with a Management/Automation systems such as RMM

Experience and knowledge in backup technologies with first-hand experience with implementing and restoring data.

Good knowledge of Microsoft OS and Cloud, particularly Windows 11, Azure and Microsoft 365
