The role

The typical collection of duties of a sales professional include:

• Engaging with retail vehicle buyers regarding one of the best product offerings New Zealand has to offer
• Maximising sales from high volumes of enquiry
• Customer follow up
• Generating new enquiry through a range of prospecting techniques including identifying buying cycles of former customers, after sales prospecting, engaging with finance and insurance, and admin functions
• Social media engagement
• Implementing strategic sales strategies set by some of the best in the industry
• Using structured selling techniques
• Above all, committing to standards of excellence and cross department collaboration

The person and experience sought   

For one of the top dealerships in New Zealand, we are seeking an accomplished sales professional with a passion for the industry. You will be joining a company that provides not just banal employment but an employment experience that has the depth to create a career.

While it is true we would prefer to identify an experienced vehicle sales professional who is experienced in the new vehicle sales sector, Automotive Employment will keep an open mind to identify talented individuals with a passion to succeed.

The challenge and reward

Remuneration will prove lucrative with an attractive base salary exceeding industry norms. Commissions could quite likely find you earning $120,000 to $130,000, with a new company car over and above this. While that is clearly an attractive proposition it's, probably not the primary reason for joining this company.
