Who will you be working for?

My client, are market leaders in delivering exceptional laser, press and precision CNC folding services in conjunction with offering innovative engineering and fabrication solutions using all grades of Mild Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel to produce high quality components and assemblies. 

What will you be doing? We require a CNC Machine Operator on the afternoon shift Monday - Friday 3.30pm pm, to work in a supportive and friendly environment.  

Your shift will include:

  • The setting, adjustment and operation of CNC machines,
  • You will consult drawings and specifications to provide input for design/ manufacturing improvements,
  • You will be encouraged to identify and recommend improvements to reduce machining time, while maintaining accuracy,
  • Ensuring machines and immediate work areas are at 5S standards is required,
  • Finding faults and performing operational maintenance on machines is required,
  • While ensuring product quality standards are upheld,
  • You will also have a strong adherence to Health and Safety practices.

Experience we are looking for:

  • Experience ideally gained in a production machine environment with minimum of 2 years,
  • Experience in folding is beneficial and having worked on Amada, Bystronic or Trumpf controllers
  • Someone who is quality orientated with high attention to details,
  • Proven ability to prioritise your tasks in a high-pressure environment,
  • Flexibility to work across a range of machine operations,
  • Strong communication skills and being an effective team player,
  • Integrity and professional standards, taking pride in your work

  • Competitive hourly rate between $29 - $33/hr + night shift allowance + O/T rates
