Prospa Contracting Services is EastPack's Orchard Management Machinery and Spray Division, servicing one of the largest orchard management companies in New Zealand, offering a full range of services that aim to optimise productivity and maximise returns for our growers.

We pride ourselves on being one of the fastest growing operations within the kiwifruit industry.

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and hardworking individual who enjoys a hands-on role to join our Te Puke based team as a permanent Machine / Sprayer Operator.

Applicants should ideally possess the following:

  • Previous experience operating sprayers and other machinery
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Have your own reliable transport and full clean NZ driver's licence (at least class 1 AND class 2)
  • Kiwifruit industry knowledge / experience would be an advantage
  • Be comfortable to work independently and as a team player
  • Able to follow instructions
  • Solid problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
  • Good time management and organisational skills (able to prioritise)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • A clear understanding and awareness of safe work practices
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness
  • Flexibility to work extended hours including weekends when required, during our main spraying and harvest peaks.

Applicants also need to be legally entitled to work in New Zealand.

EastPack operates a drug and alcohol-free workplace, and the successful applicant will be required to undertake a pre-employment drug test and be subject to ongoing random drug testing.
