With one of New Zealand's biggest used-vehicle operations and a consistently high sales volume, we're expanding our leadership team and looking for an exceptional Assistant Used Car Sales Manager to help drive performance and customer experience.

About the role:

Supporting the Used Vehicle Sales Manager, you'll play a key role in:

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting a high-performing team of Vehicle Consultants
  • Ensuring a professional, structured sales process with exceptional customer service
  • Assisting with sales targets, performance monitoring, and daily team activity
  • Supporting stock management, trade-in processes, pricing accuracy, and display standards
  • Maintaining CRM accuracy and driving consistent follow-up
  • Handling escalated customer issues and supporting positive resolutions
  • Providing leadership coverage in the Sales Manager's absence

This role is ideal for a top-performing salesperson ready to step into leadership, or an emerging manager wanting to grow their capability in a large-scale dealership environment.

What You'll Bring:

  • Experience in used-car sales (high-volume ideal)
  • Strong commercial & analytical skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence with CRM/DMS systems
  • Great communication & teamwork
  • Leadership potential + a customer-first mindset
  • Valid full NZ Drivers Licence
