**ARA Hardware, a division of the ARA Group, is a well-established and leading NZ supplier of door hardware to the construction industry. We are passionate about what we do, and we strive to be the industry leader in our field.**

We are looking for a Sales Consultant to help grow sales and provide outstanding service to our building & construction customers.

The successful applicant will be energetic and focused and will work closely with architects, trades staff and residential clients, providing them with excellent personalised service.

**What will I be doing?**
- Preparing documentation, including sales orders, quotes and invoices
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with our suppliers
- Developing product knowledge to provide accurate advice - training provided
- Supporting our external sales team
- Assisting with stock management as/when required
- Assist with showroom presentation and housekeeping.

**What do I need?**
- Sales experience either in retail or trade environments or a willingness to step into Sales from another role
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Strong work ethic and willingness to find the right solutions for customers
- Great communication skills - verbal and written
- Current Drivers Licence.

*To be eligible for this position, you must currently reside in NZ and have a legal right to work permanently in this country.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
