Looking for a role which keeps things moving for the country and gives you growth? We're looking for a motivated freight operator to join our busy Dunedin branch

Team Global Express NZ delivers freight forwarding, end-to-end transport services, and comprehensive logistics solutions to customers operating across New Zealand from Kaitaia to Invercargill.

Shift: Monday – Friday, 10.00am – 6.30pm

About the role - Mō te tūranga

In this hands-on role, you'll be loading and unloading freight, scanning, sorting, and keeping everything moving safely and on time. No two days are the same – it's fast-paced, physical work where teamwork is key.

Key duties:

  • Load and unload all freight safely and securely, for both road and rail units.
  • Achieve branch operational objectives by using On-time to scan freight efficiently.
  • Ensure all equipment is operated in a safe and proficient manner.
  • Maintain good working relationships.
  • Communicate effectively within a team environment

Additionally, you will need:

  • Clean Class 1 Full Drivers license – must have
  • OSH approved forklift certificate – must have
  • Prior work experience in the freight industry - preferred
  • Prior long fork experience - preferred
  • A strong health and safety focus
